The 2006 Irondale Winter Guard:
|
“Zambra”
|

|
|
This year
marks Irondale’s Winter Guard’s
17th
competitive season with its show entitled
“Zambra” with music by the
same name performed by Ojos de Brojos.
With its
Spanish/Indian fusion, this year’s show is quite different for Irondale of
recent years
but one that we are all very excited about tackling.
The feel
this year is far more aggressive but maintains much of the fun visual effects
that Irondale has been known for in the past.
You will see
Spanish, Indian and contemporary influences throughout the show
and we hope we bring a fresh attitude to our performance.
While we are
younger this year, we are no less adventurous.
The change
in style this year is a big departure for us but the challenge has been met
with great enthusiasm.
We hope you
enjoy this year’s program!

A special
thanks goes out to all of our parents and grandparents
who have sewn uniforms and flags,
built props, painted, fed and just helped us in general.
As always …
it means a TON!!!
