Fundraisers The Irondale High School Marching Knights rely heavily on the support of the community, families and friends. Listed below are some of the ways you can help further the success of the program. Thank you for your continued support!! Current Fundraisers Barnes & Noble Bookfair This year’s Barnes & Noble Bookfair event is scheduled for Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the Har Mar Barnes & Noble Store located at 2100 Snelling Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota. This is a fundraising opportunity where the Marching Knights receive a percentage of the net sales. It works like this: We provide bookfair vouchers to friends, family, and neighbors. Encourage them to shop at the Har Mar Barnes & Noble store on December 2nd. When they check out they simply hand the cashier our bookfair voucher. The clerk records the sale and we get credit for the transaction. The more we sell, the greater percentage we make. The voucher can be used for:       * Books       * Music       * Magazines       * Café gift items and other merchandise This is a great opportunity to shop for Christmas presents and support the Marching Knights. The voucher can not be used for:       * Gift Cards       * Barnes and Noble memberships       * Café consumables The key to success of this event is to give the voucher to as many people as possible. Please place vouchers at local businesses, or other public places, where people may take them. Vouchers will be distributed to Marching Band members and Band Boosters at upcoming meetings or you can get them here: Barnes and Noble Voucher Barnes and Noble Vouchers Abra Auto Body / Midway Chevrolet ABRA Auto Body & Glass in the Midway is proud to announce an new way to support the Irondale Marching Knights. ABRA Auto Body & Glass Midway located at 1190 University Avenue in St. Paul has agreed to make a $50 donation to the Irondale Marching Band for any automotive body repair work over $500. This includes collision repair as well as cosmetic repairs on all makes of cars. Just bring your car into ABRA Auto Body & Glass Midway and mention the Band any time in 2006. No coupons or vouchers are necessary. ABRA Auto Body & Glass Midway will keep track and automatically make the donation to the Band. Midway Chevrolet is a also participating in the program whereby the Band will receive a $100 contribution with the purchase of any new or used care from Midway Chevrolet. Many companies match employee monetary or volunteer hour donations to non-profit organizations (which the Boosters is one!). Previous Fundraisers Raffle Calendar Sales Each year the Marching Knights Band Boosters conduct a Mega-Raffle to raise money for the Marching Band. The money we raise from the Mega-Raffle is crucial to be able to compete at field shows, buy and maintain uniforms and band instruments, and provide financial help for band members unable to afford the program fees. Whether you’re an alumni, a local supporter, or a relative of a band member, the Mega Raffle is an excellent way you can show your support for the Marching Knights program. The cost of each raffle ticket is $25. What you get in return is a 12 month pocket calendar filled with information about the band and photos of the kids, the staff and the performances and about a 1 in 8 chance of winning a cash prize between $250 and $30. Sales for this years Mega-Raffle ends September 30, 2007.     Winners will be posted on the Marching Knights website (www.irondalemarchingknights.org).            Prizes will automatically be sent by mail. Spring Flower Sale The Irondale Band Boosters invite you to help the Irondale Marching Band, Drumline, and Colorguard while you SAVE on exceptional quality spring bedding plants and hanging baskets to be delivered before Mother's Day. Order by: THURSDAY, APRIL 26th. Spring Flower Order Form Sponsorship Day! The annual Marching Knights sponsorship day will be May 19, 2007.
