The Irondale Marching Knights will be hosting their 19^th Annual “Music of the Knight” Marching Band Festival on Saturday, September 24th, 2011.

If you plan to participate in “Music of the Knight”-2011, you may now register on-line using the form below. Please note the confirmation screen with instructions on how to submit your band's bio and the $100 registration fee.

AAA

Select Class

Class A bands are usually younger or smaller bands who are proficient in basic marching and playing skills. Class AA bands are able to demonstrate intermediate marching and playing skills and have a more advanced show design. Class AAA bands demonstate advanced marching and playing skills and have a sophisticated program design. Select Class is for groups who wish to perform for judges comments only and NOT compete for a score or placement.

The size of the ensemble CAN be used as a factor when determining class size, but the focus is on the talent level of the performers and the sophistication of the program design.

Band Biography/Spiel Sheet:

Please include information about your band, this year's show, musical selections, your history and notable accomplishments, names of directors and staff, Drum Majors, etc. Please include pronunciation information for names.

We would like this to print this information in our program and would also like to respectfully pronounce all of the names correctly from the press box - please include phonetic spellings for difficult names and song titles.
